Tween & Teen Commercial Voiceover
Commercials for products and services are geared towards buyers, and the tone of voice aids in the overall selling point. This could be a fun upbeat voiceover for a fan favorite snack food, or a conversational relatable voice for a college recruiting ad, or a bubbly energetic voice about the latest and greatest toy release, or even a warm down to earth tone for an awareness advertisement. Having a commercial that appeals to both the eyes and the ears simultaneously is a highly effective marketing tactic. With Jessica’s first commercial voice over project, it was a perfect match for her. Jessica was and still is a proponent that every individual is entitled to the same benefits in life that she has. A roof over their head, a bedroom for her toys, a bed, and a space to dream. Little things like having a kitchen, a car, a bus to ride to school in should be normal. So Jessica poured her heart and soul into this audition because she felt the impact. Not every child has a home. Once Jessica’s audition was sent in she was contacted a few days later to record the project. The video is still out today and Jessica’s point was well made narrating this commercial video.
Teenage Commercial Voice Talent
In most cases, adults and parents are the consumers of the products and services advertised in every day Television, Radio, and Internet media. However, when it comes to goods made specifically for kids and teens, what better way to relate to that age group than using someone actually in that age group? When watching their favorite cartoon or listening to their favorite radio station, they may hear someone their age talk about how great a product is, which in many cases is much more relatable than hearing it from an adult. As a professional teen voice actor, Jessica understands how to speak to her audience in a way that creates trust and excitement within her fellow youth. Jessica has trained in commercial voiceover ever since she first started in voiceover. Well trained voiceover artists learn the way to speak the commercials, where to emphasize certain phrases, where to speed up, where to slow down. She is able to find the right tone and pace to use to be sure her voice is heard and understood. Jessica has booked the narrations for commercials, tag lines for commercials and then small parts here and there that create the full broadcast commercial. Jessica offers a variety of voices, sounds and personalities to match the needs of the producers and directors of the production. Jessica encourages live direction during sessions so the client knows they are getting the sound they need.
Versatile Kid to Teen Voice Actor
Given the sheer range of application for commercial voiceovers, it is an absolute necessity for voiceover artists to possess great versatility. Jessica has portrayed a wide array of characters, from infants and toddlers, to young children and tweens, to teens and young adults. The youngest voice Jessica has provided for commercial work was a 3 year old voice to play a young child who was speaking with her mom in a commercial. Jessica has recorded various roles of individual characters, narrator and even inanimate objects for her commercial bookings. Jessica enjoys providing different voices for different projects. Occasionally producers will present the description of what they need for a commercial and Jessica will work on the possible voice, provide a few options and present them to the end client. Jessica has quite a vivid imagination and can easily come up with options for the least suspecting character or object to suddenly have a voice. Jessica may be asked to perform humorous sketches, speak about a horribly sad subject, or speak in a perky and happy tone. All of these jobs must be undertaken in both a professional and creative manner which Jessica can conquer. Whether she is talking about the latest flavor of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream in the freezer, protecting our planet’s wildlife, why Vans are the most comfortable shoes to wear, the newest Nintendo video game release, prepping for college applications, or the features of a recently released Barbie doll playset, Jessica uses her creative professional skills to determine her audience and consumer demographic, in order to tie the visual and audio aspects together into the perfect commercial.
